Having Fun German Syle!

Petra, our wonderful German neighbor and her family invited us to Oktoberfest in Addison. It was so much fun having a "real" German explain the food, music, and cultural activities and to hear her sing German folksongs with her sister visiting from their homeland. Julia and I had a blast riding the carnival rides and playing in the fountain. The pictures are somewhat deceiving, however, as most of our time was spent eating, drinking, and dancing to the German oompah bands!
