I know, I know, it's been a while. Don't worry, we haven't been lazy--just haven't taken the time to update--no excuses! So here's what you've missed. . . I had a some fun in Woodville for a long weekend with my cousins James and Claire while their folks were on vacation. We swam and ate then swam some more. Next on the calendar was National Night Out 2007. Our neighborhood decided to hold ours in the park this year. Dad grilled up some dogs, and we even rented a bounce house water slide! I got to meet Magruff the Crime Dog, as well as some very nice police officers and firefighters. My favorite part was getting see and TOUCH the firetruck--wow it was amazing! The last part of August we spent in the Northwest on our family vacation. We had beautiful weather and had an absolute marvelous time seeing the cities of Seattle and Portland and the miraculous wonders of nature surrounding them. Fall is making a very slow decent into the South, but we have still had fun with some outdoor activities including a trip to the St. Ann's carnival (I'm finally big enough to get on some rides!) and an outing to the Arboretum. I also got to welcome in the troops again at the airport. Although I didn't get to wave him in, we are so happy to have Uncle Jas back home--and just in time to welcome my newest cousin Jake into the world! I can't wait to have the opportunity to post some pictures with him. Also included in this posting are some pics from Laura and Reeve's first anniversary surprise. Aunt Laura surprised her hubby with Dallas Cowboys tickets. Little did she know, however, that the Arnolds would surprise HER with a "newlywed" decorated car in which to drive them to the game! Reeve's blindfold was finally taken off right in front of Texas Stadium--they had a blast and the Cowboys won! I write all of this today a little tired, because I just completed the Ovarian Cancer Coalition's Walk/Run for the Whisper, a 5K to raise money for the cause. It was tons of fun running (Dad pushed me in the jog stroller) with our team, Joanie's Joggers, named for our friend's Mother who recently passed away. Dad and I blew Mom away, running the 5K in 28 minutes--you go Dad! Hope you enjoy the photogaphs.
