San Antonio

We traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for Dad to complete one of his life long dreams--to run in a marathon. He and several other guys from work completed the San Antonio Rock n Roll marathon and half marathon. We're so proud of Dad for his huge accomplishment of running 13.1 miles--he even got a medal and gave it to me! I've been wearing it around the house all week. Unfortunately, we only have one picture to show of the big event. With over 30,000 runners, it was next to impossible to even park in the area. In addition to the race, we had a lot of fun at Seaworld where we met the Brauns from Coppell. Julia, Sophia, and I watched every show and rode every ride they would let us on. My favorite part was feeding the dolphins and petting an alligator! Mom and Dad's favorite part was the Budweiser brewhouse where they got to sample some of Bud's finest! Anheuser Busch owns Seaworld and even houses some of the famous Clydesdales there for viewing. We plan on going many more times in the future since we got a season pass. I can't wait to show my cousins around Seaworld when they move to San Antonio this summer!
