Trip to Georgia

We had a wonderful trip to see our Georgia Arnold family members. I got to meet Jake, my newest cousin, for the first time--did I mention he's a BOY! I loved watching him, and I can't wait for him to get bigger so we can wrestle and get into all kinds of trouble. Aunt Jen made us wonderful meals, Uncle Jas read to us, and I had tons of fun playing with Sarah and Hannah. They live in a wonderful neighborhood, and we accompanied them to their fun community Christmas party. I also got to go to the Georgia Aquarium in downtown Atlanta. I was mesmerized by all the aquatic wildlife--we saw enormous sharks and whales, colorful fish, and penguins. I even danced with Deepo, their version of "Nemo"! Here are some pictures from the trip. I've also included some photos of a party I had with my friends where we exchanged ornaments.

It's Holiday Time!

The holidays have started with a bang around here. We headed to Grandmother and Grand Dad's for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time eating, watching movies, eating, playing football, eating, watching football, sleeping, and eating some more. It got nice and chilly there, and I enjoyed helping the big boys put logs on the fire. We also celebrated Claire's birthday a little early since we were all together. On Sunday, we gave Jay a big send off for Lubbock to start his new job. He is anxious for the rest of the gang to join him at Christmas
This past weekend I had breakfast with Santa, courtesy of the MOMS Club. I made peace with Santa this year and am no longer scared of the big bearded guy. I told him I wanted a guitar--I hope he remembers! I've also included some photos of some of my playgroups with friends, including a wonderful fall trip to the zoo. Hope your holidays are jolly!

Halloween 2007

Well, I finally decided on Incredible Hulk this year for my costume after telling everyone I wanted to be "red." Maybe we'll come up with something red next year. The big muscles were just too cool to pass up. I really got the hang of the trick or treating thing this year. I was able to keep up with the neighborhood kids--actually I could more than keep up! We raced from door to door to see who got to ring the doorbell first. Mom had to coach me on my approach in the beginning when I would say "I WANT SOME CANDY!". She said it was more appropriate to say "trick or treat" followed by "Happy Halloween and Thank you." I'll know better for next year. Anyway, it was lots of fun treating with Julia, Sophia, Evan, and Emma. I've included some pictures from the excitement when I first put on my costume to the sugar crash later on that night. Enjoy!

Having Fun German Syle!

Petra, our wonderful German neighbor and her family invited us to Oktoberfest in Addison. It was so much fun having a "real" German explain the food, music, and cultural activities and to hear her sing German folksongs with her sister visiting from their homeland. Julia and I had a blast riding the carnival rides and playing in the fountain. The pictures are somewhat deceiving, however, as most of our time was spent eating, drinking, and dancing to the German oompah bands!
