The MS150
Mom and Dad did a crazy thing--they decided to ride their bikes from Houston to Austin with about 13,000 other people to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Although at times it was difficult, they had a blast riding and know it will be an experience they will never forget. Grandmother and Grandandan met up with us in Houston to hang out with me as we traveled from Houston to La Grange then on to Austin to help the crew transport their bikes. La Grange was a lot of fun cheering in the thousands of people on their bikes and eating a big spaghetti dinner with all the riders of Team Believe. Mom and Dad even got massages on Saturday after their ride! We stayed in a really cool cabin on Saturday night. Mom and Dad left with their friends early Sunday morning, but the Grands and I hung out for a while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the farm where we stayed. We took off around lunch in order to meet the riders in Austin. Mom and Dad said that was the coolest part of the whole ride-cycling in to the capital to be greeted by thousands of onlookers cheering them home. The support during the ride was amazing, with folks standing along the streets of every town cheering on the riders. It was truly an awesome experience for all involved!
